OFWD is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities.
The health and safety of our valued customers and employee’s is our top priority, and at the heart of every decision we make. Considering the city of Edmonton Bylaw implementation OFWD has changes to the showroom. As per the city Bylaw: Effective August 1, 2020, wearing a mask or face covering will be mandatory in all indoor public places and public vehicles. We believe it’s critical to do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and will be following the guidelines set by AHS:
We will limit gatherings of no more than 15 people inside our Showroom
We will manage the access within our Showroom to ensure physical distancing measures are maintained
Every person who is in our showroom will be wearing a mask or face covering. If someone comes in who does not have a mask with them, we will supply a disposable mask. We have made the decision to not allow anyone into our showroom without a face covering to protect patrons and staff alike.
We are requesting that anyone entering the showroom fill out a simple questionnaire to help us in the event there is a positive case of Covid-19 within our building
Hand sanitizers will be available to assist in stopping contamination
Physical distancing will be maintained within 2 meters
We encourage customers over 60 or those with pre-existing health conditions to limiting contact and instead call our Customer Service number at 780-447-7919
We are living in very difficult times and there are many unknowns. What we do know is we have been part of the Edmonton Business Community for 20 years and the strength of our culture and the loyalty of our customers are what have sustained us through tough times. As a family-run company, we consider our employees and customers part of our family. We are here to serve you and to support you, and we will get through this together.
We are taking precautions to create a safe work environment in our Showroom and Warehouse and are also looking at unique ways to help in our communities and are actively researching business and office tools to assist in maintaining safe work environments.
